Gator Getdown, an annual tradition is a highlight of the social calendar at Georgia Southern. This year’s week-long event will begin on Saturday, March 29 and continue through April 5, 2008. Every GSU fraternity will compete against each other at the kickoff golf tournament at Southern Links Golf Course. Following the tournament, Kappa Sigma will host a band party at the clubhouse for tournament participants and guests. Throughout the week, the chapter will sponsor various philanthropic and social events across campus and the Statesboro community. Below is the schedule of events. Wed 4/2 80's Rockstar Party featuring US Band @ Rude Rudy's 9pm.
Thurs 4/3 Annual Budweiser PoolParty @ Campus Club.
Friday 4/4 Dusty Boots Band @ Retrievers 9pm.
Sat 4/5 Sand Volleyball Tournament @ the Kappa Sigma house starting at 10AM.
Sat 4/5 House Party. Contact a brother for directions. Starts @ 9pm. |

Formal will be Feb. 22-23 at Sea Palms in St. Simons. The cost is $80 per brother (with date), this includes dinner/band, etc. The rooms will be $109.00 per night and we're staying Friday and Saturday night. Standard Candle will be playing.
